WELSH LADIES' CLOSE CHAMPIONSHIP

The tournament will be played at ABERDOVEY GC from Sunday, May 17, 2009 to Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Practice rounds - Saturday 16th. Practice rounds may be booked on-line at www.aberdoveygolf.co.uk or by ringing 01654 767493 Option 5

Tournament fee £30.00
Handicap Limit - 12.4
Entry limited to 64 competitors. If applications exceed this number a ballot of entries from the highest handicap entrants will take place immediately after the closing date.

There will be 2 qualifying rounds played on Sunday 17 May.

The 16 players returning the lowest scores over 36 holes shall qualify for the match play stages. Ties for the last place(s) shall be decided by hole by hole play off.

The players returning the next 8 lowest scores shall qualify for the match play stages of the Valentine Plate. All ties shall be decided by card count back.

Competitors must register on Saturday 16 May between 1200hrs and 1600hrs either:
1. In person at the Championship Office at Aberdovey GC or
2. By telephone - 07921 300 611

PLEASE NOTE :
1. THE USE OF DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES IS NOT PERMITTED.
2. ONLY FOOTWEAR WITH SOFT SPIKES IS PERMITTED ON THE GOLF COURSE.
